Kevin Giangrasso, Psy.D.
Dr. Giangrasso works with students to help them compensate for learning and emotional difficulties within their academic setting. Dr. Giangrasso is a psychologist and a certified teacher. This dual training and experience affords him a unique view into the difficulties students may experience in the academic setting. Dr. Giangrasso has extensive experience in working in schools both as a teacher as well as in consulting with teachers and other school professionals about students’ emotional and learning problems.
Dr. Giangrasso obtained his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, his M.S. in education from Pace University, and his Psy.D. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his pre-doctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Rowan University, and his pre-doctoral internship at the VA Medical Center in Coatesville, PA. His research interests include the application of evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders and school-based interventions.
