Lindsey Collin, Psy.D.
Dr. Collin specializes in the intervention of academic and learning challenges as they relate to social-emotional struggles. Dr. Collin has worked with individuals in diverse outpatient and school settings and has received extensive training in using various evidence-based approaches. In addition, Dr. Collin has in-depth experience conducting comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments, providing academic coaching, consulting with teachers and school administrators, and supervising doctoral-level students in administering assessments.
Dr. Collin’s doctoral dissertation focused on a teacher coaching program and its effects on students’ self-regulatory abilities. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Dr. Collin worked as a high school teacher in a school that specializes in treating students with learning differences and emotional difficulties.
Dr. Collin earned her B.S. from the University of San Diego and her Psy.D. in the combined Clinical Child-School Psychology program at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University. She completed her pre-doctoral training at the Jewish Child Care Association.
