COVID-19 UPDATE: Academics West’s Commitment to the Health and Safety of the School Community
As of July 5, 2022, students and staff will not be required to wear a mask while in the building. Everyone still has the option to wear a mask if they choose to do so.
As always, we will continue to monitor students and staff who report Covid-19 related symptoms and will be reporting them to the local health department. We will also continue our cleaning protocols and regular measures to mitigate any spread of the illness within Academics West.
There will still be a number of preventive measures in place at Academics West. We can expect the following continued mitigation measures:

- Academics West will continue to require all students and staff to be vaccinated to enter our building.
- Students and staff should continue to wear a mask for 10 days after a known exposure.
- Masking will be required for individuals returning from isolation during days six through 10 after a COVID-19 infection.
- AW will continue to notify affected families, staff and teachers of exposure to individual reports of a new COVID-19 infection
