Our adolescents (grades 7-12) learn in 10:2 cohorts and are led by a Lead Teacher and a Focus Teacher. Students in our Upper School may participate in our Mentor Program as well as the Heroes Council. The Mentor Program pairs Upper School students with Lower School students. The older students enjoy the prosocial opportunity to help others while the younger students benefit from student mentors who provide them with additional support at AW. The Heroes Council provides select Upper School students with the opportunity to influence how AW handles community infractions. Moreover, those on this council also work directly with the Program Director to offer valuable input on student needs.
